Expected litter, December 2024

We are pleased to share that Ibris’ pregnancy is confirmed and we are expecting Greyfarer D-litter this December in Los Angeles

Ibris is a very stable and friendly girl and at nearly 3 she’s still amicable with every dog and person. We often take her to the public off-leash dog beaches here. She’s been all over at meetings, shows, and traveling, always with a very nice cooperative temperament. She’s an amazing go anywhere do anything and everything partner.

Her show successes in the ring speak for themselves. Ibris’ strengths are her structure, show-winning attitude and above all, movement. In the states, Ibris is a multiple UKC Best in Show winner and if we stay around next summer, she might clinch the final few points for her AKC CM.

In extremely limited showing in Europe, Ibris also took Best in Show at 2024 DuoDanube CACIB and finished her FCI International Champion of Beauty and FCI International Show Champion in two summer trips. She has also done well in multiple country of origin breed specialties.

Ibris meets the breeding requirements as set out by both the The Czechoslovakian Vlcak Society of America and the COO breed club Klub chovateľov československého vlčiaka SR having met and exceeded all relevant health testing, and completing both bonitation and the 40km endurance requirements. She and her mother Esper are the only two dogs of any sex to meet these requirements in the USA.

In choosing a stud for her, we wanted to find a male with a suitable compatible pedigree and a nice stable temperament to continue breeding the type we expect - open, friendly, stable, and cooperative. We selected Will, a 7 year old stud living in Italy from the line of Iran Zemplinska oblast. This litter will be a distant linebreeding on Iran. In his pedigree you can find dogs like Baron spod Dumbiera and Amy Zlata Palz, Askia Slnecny dvor and Milo Ruskov dvor. Will is a very tall male measuring 72cm at bonitation with an Og score for temp, like Ibris. Despite his height, he is a compact CSV with correct torso length index unlike many large males. Will also has strong bones, great undercoat pigment and a profuse coat. He is the sire to Belias and we look forward to seeing if those conformation and temp strengths will also play out in Ibris’ litter.

We are looking for one co-owner on preferably a female so that we can keep working on these lines in our breeding program. From this litter we expect puppies with nice temperament and potential for the show and sporting ring.
